SUMMIT
"California Is At Great Risk - Securing Our Competitiveness in a Global Market"
September 21-22, 2007
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
California, USA
[ Download Program ]
While countries like China and India continue to produce a technical workforce at a greater pace than
the United States, California's standing as one of the world's largest economies continues to drop.
Unless a plan is formulated to address this very serious concern, the quality of life in
California will cease to exist as we know it today. An efficient educational pipeline in
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) is the only answer. This two day summit
will highlight the issues and present solutions to this State and National emergency.
